Members/Guests

Members of the Orlean Community Trail System are your neighbors. Many are avid horse riders, others are hikers, while others ride mountain bikes or motorized vehicles. Ideally, all would hope to access the trail system from their own property. Because we restrict membership to Orlean-area neighbors, the resulting traffic pressure is truly minimal. Our purpose is to provide a user-friendly trail option for neighbors, NOT to provide trails for non-members.

Members are welcome to bring guests when using the trail system. Guests must accompanied by an OCTS member when using the trails. Members are responsible for assuring their guests are sufficiently skilled to safely navigate the trails and they are responsible for guests obeying the OCTS trail etiquette.

For non-riding social functions, there are no such limitations on guests, who are always welcome and need not be “sponsored by” or accompanied by members. We love having guests and making new friends!

Membership is FREE! Events are complimentary, but donations are vital – and welcomed – to enable OCTS to sustain its community support.
